Personality:
Sindri is often viewed as an enigma, or rather misunderstood. There are some who consider him cold, and others who consider him more of an oddity. Sindri shows very little, if any outwardly emotions. His face is often a mask of apathy or neutrality. One of the few ways to get under his skin however, is through battle, or through anger. Sindri is known for having a temper, mostly because his kind have often thrived in battle and violence. If threatened, whether by intention or not, Sindri will usually react in anger or respond with intimidation.

He is also a very literal person. He does not understand many common phrases, or much of the human world at all. Sindri is extremely honest, to the point he will openly say truths in a blunt and sometimes hurtful manner. Sindri does not like wasted time, or frivolities. He is most at home while fighting rogues, or sparring with other Guardians. Unless proven otherwise, Sindri openly considers fellow Keepers trustworthy and battle-companions. The Guardian will not hesitate to lay down his life for another and assumes the same in return.

History/Description:
Sindri does not remember much of his childhood, or at least, he does not care to remember most of it. Both of his parents had been proud Mythos; his father a powerful, and reputable Einherjar that served the Chancel as a Keeper, and his mother a Valkyrie who spent much of her human life in service to the human military. He cannot even recall either of their faces, as shortly after his first birthday, Sindri's mother was killed in one of the last battles of World War II. His father was a indeed a proud man, but not immune to grief. Only one year after, his father fell to the blade of a rogue Mythos while on duty, his fighting style never the same after the loss of his wife. Sindri was taken into custody of the Chancel, and raised in Sanctum's small orphanage for Mythos children who had lost their parents in the line of their Keeper duties.

When Sindri was old enough, he tried to live amongst humans once more. He struggled greatly in school, often getting into fights over almost nothing and injuring human children. Moving from place to place, and school to school, the Chancel hoped with time better control would come. It unfortunately never did. It was soon realized by the Chancel, and by Sindri himself, the human world was not his place.

After returning to Sanctum once more, Sindri enlisted himself as one of the guards to pass time, and to satiate his need for conflict. He thrived in training, but found himself bored otherwise. It was actually a passing remark from one of his fellow trainees that pushed Sindri into signing himself up for Keeper recruitment instead. He had no glorious dreams of following his father's footsteps, but Sindri simply had no where else to turn. He was paired with a temperamental dragon by the name of Ivan, and the two formed a troubled partnership. Sindri lacked social experience, and was more at home in a sparring match, while Ivan was a troublemaker and had no problems in finding the wrong kind of trainees to hang out with.

By the time Sindri was twenty five, he and Ivan had only barely managed to make it through training. Their missions were sloppy, overly destructive and often resulted in failure. It took many attempts and the sudden realization that perhaps the two of them were more alike than originally thought before their relationship as partners began to strengthen. Their rise through the ranks was slow at best, but some things took time.

Sindri has learned to rely on his partner, something that was extremely hard for him. He still has problems in social situations, and would much rather be training, or reading a book than be around other Keepers. Ivan seems to be the only person he openly allows in his company. It is not as if he dislikes people, he simply dislikes being around them. While becoming a Keeper was not something he had ever really envisioned for himself, Sindri seems at least satisfied where his life is now.

That is a pretty dope design for a species I've never of before~
